Breaking Traditions

Kelly McHenry is a senior at Middle College who is breaking traditions by representing females in the world of welding! Way to go!! We are so proud of you. A huge shout out to Jim Bridwell for being the fearless leader and teaching greatness to his students!

A student is considered to be breaking tradition when they are pursuing and in careers that are non-traditional for their gender.

Did you know that there are scholarships for breaking tradition?  OTC has a Breaking Tradition program which provides need-based financial assistance to qualifying students.
