Life as a Baby Iguana
Life. One little word that can bring up so many feelings. For some, Life brings joy and love causing them to feel they can take on the world. For others, Life brings uncertainty and fear causing them to feel that it's them against the world. But for all of us, Life brings challenges and battles which causes us to either choose to fight or give up.
Little baby iguana just fought his way out of his egg and the earth in which it was buried. Now he faces his first and scariest challenge of his life - a journey across a snake infested land to reach safety with the other iguanas. He had two choices to make: give up and become snake dinner or fight like his little iguana life depends on it!
Given this choice, what do you tend to run towards? Giving up and throwing in the towel or gearing to fight as hard as you can? It's not going to be easy. It will be terrifying. You will most likely get some wounds and scars along the way. But do not ever give up! Even when the baby iguana got caught, having life squeezed out of him, and feeling like that was the end of life as he knew it...HE FOUGHT! He was tired, but he fought! He fought with every ounce of strength he could find. But that wasn't the end! He still had several more death defying leaps with hungry and angry snakes striking his feet.
You are this iguana, fighting for a chance. Life can be unpredictable, but here you are, fighting for the opportunity to not only survive but thrive. You do not know when the snakes will attack but you run and fight, like your life depends on it. Because it does. And know you are not alone. We are here cheering you on and will help you along the way.
