FAFSA Season Is Upon Us!

Seniors, it's almost time to begin filling out your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) beginning on October 1st! If you plan to attend college from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019 you will use parents' 2016 tax information.

It is important for you to have your FAFSA filled out as soon as possible so you can be eligible for a higher amount of financial aid. Access Missouri is a needs based grant that is only guaranteed to those who submit their FAFSA before February 1, 2019. Those who submit their FAFSA after that date will not be guaranteed the Access Missouri grant.

You will need to create an FSA ID, which the student and parent/guardian will have separate IDs. While you create your FSA ID, use this worksheet to keep track of what email you used, username & password, and security questions. You must know this information for every year you fill out the FAFSA. (You will not be able to create a new FSA ID each year.)
